Hi all.

I'm still trying to get my portfolio together, and I've gotten some fantastic advice from my friend =Theron. Only problem is getting into the storage area I keep my old art. xD

I am still looking for some advice, and to those who have given some, <3 I appreciate it very much.

Dead line is like, 1 month away and I need some extra push. Is there any advice people can give me about what types of things to draw? People, celebrities, flowers, animals?

I need all the assistance I can get.

You could always draw Vinnie shaded and everything for me! =D

No, I'm kidding. Why not attempt some mythical creatures? Or, make up something. Some messed-up creature, kinda like Fuxxed. Use your imagination! You could attempt landscapes..? Or famous monuments or buildings!

I'm not really sure what you're good at drawing. I'd try and do different things rather than focus heavily on one type of subject.

RED is a colour of duality. It is Love and Rage all at once.

I think you're on the right track with the first piece you posted. Maybe render it into colour in two different mediums, like paint and pencil colour, as well?

Probably doing things like we did in high school art would work well for portfolios, since they're pretty standard ways to show talent.

Maybe I should try to find my old school portfolio? I think I might have some stuff I can include in my university portfolio, or if not that, then get some ideas.

Awesome! Thank you again Bym! You are teh bestest!! xD *lame*

Could be some good stuff to update in it, as well. Might include the two together to show how you've progressed and improved?
:iconechoscalling:
Oh damn! That's a good idea too! You are truly the greatest.

Go with what will most impress the people that look at the portfolios. If it's a graphic arts program, you'll want to do things like logos or character design and show your own style, whereas if it's fine arts, then you'll need to do traditional stuff like we did in school.
